The Constables of Maricopa County provide the public with an efficient and timely service of process issued through the Justice Courts. These processes include:

  • Orders of Protection
  • Summons
  • Subpoenas
  • Writs of the Court such as evictions and property seizures

There are 26 elected Constables serving the over 4 million citizens of Maricopa County.

About Me

I am a native of Illinois who moved to Arizona in 2015. I began my law enforcement career in 1988, retiring in 2013 as the Chief of Staff over the Forensics Division for the Illinois State Police. I have a broad investigative background as a major case supervisor and narcotics unit commander. In addition, I have worked as a Securities Investigator and Special Investigator for a major insurance corporation. I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University. My wife, Ines, and I are the proud parents of two sons and our German Shepherd mix rescue dog Jack.


26 years of law enforcement experience:

  • Currently serving as Maricopa County CONSTABLE – Kyrene Precinct
  • Chief of Staff Illinois State Police Division of Forensics
  • Squad Leader major case investigations including homicides, crimes against children, public integrity investigations, and financial crimes
  • Commander of multi-agency covert narcotics investigative unit
  • Illinois State Police Tactical Response Team
  • Chairman of Illinois MEG Directors and Task Force Commander’s Association

Duties of a Constable

Constables’ duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct Constable sales of property levied on to satisfy judgments
  • Execute and return writs of possession or restitution (evictions)
  • Judicial security
  • Levy and return writs of execution (seize property to satisfy judgments)
  • Serve criminal and civil summons and subpoenas
  • Serve orders of protection and orders prohibiting harassment
  • Store personal property levied on
  • Summon Jurors
